Since graduating from the UConn School of Law, Joe has worked exclusively in the practice areas that fall under the “personal injury” umbrella.  From car accidents to product liability, Joe has tried multiple cases to jury verdicts in both state and federal court.  He is a zealous advocate and cares deeply about each and every one of his clients.  Joe is a responsive attorney who is available to answer questions and provide updates at his clients’ convenience.  Having honed his negotiation skills, Joe reaches favorable settlements for nearly all his clients before having to go to trial, however, should an insurance company not offer adequate compensation for a client’s injuries and/or losses, Joe will passionately try any size case.

In founding ACK Injury Law, Joe seeks to continue to offer compassionate representation to people who need a trusted professional to guide them through the legal process. “I became a lawyer to help individuals put their lives back on track.  When a person is injured or a loved one is killed, the importance of finding an advocate who can fight for you and your family is of the utmost importance.  I am proud to work for a law firm that delivers both passionate representation and a personal experience where the lawyers themselves communicate with the clients on a frequent basis.”

Joe loves the set-up of ACK Injury Law as he enjoys working in a team-driven environment, where the entire firm gets together on a weekly basis to touch base on each and every case.  He firmly believes that a group of great legal brains beats just one every time.

Joe has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past three years and is recognized by Best Lawyers® in the practice area of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs.  He is a member of the CTLA, the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, and the Middlesex County Bar Association, servicing clients throughout the entire state.  Like the entire team at ACK Injury Law, Joe prides himself on handling the complex legal matters that arise when someone is injured or killed, which allows that person or their family focus on healing.

Joe grew up in West Hartford, attended Connecticut College in New London and then UConn Law in Hartford.  Joe is Connecticut through and through and is an avid UConn Huskies basketball fan–both the men and the women, and he volunteers in the West Hartford Youth Basketball League, where he coaches 8th and 9th graders.
